$150,000… 20 lbs… made and lost in 60 days?

Aug 11

It’s now August 2011 and for the first time in 25 months… I’m about to have a real home base again! After traveling the world for two years, Austin has seduced me, captured my heart, and for reasons beyond my logical rationalizations, it just feels like the right place I need to be.

To commemorate this epic shift in my adventurous life, I’ve decided, along with Angela Hartman (my business partner, friend and roommate) to engage in an insane 60 day challenge. We’re going to hold ourselves accountable to:

  • Making $150,000
  • Launch the first 2 projects for our women’s company, O! Lila
  • Losing 15 to 20 lbs of fat each, and build muscle for some kick ass sexy bods!
  • Volunteering for local children’s causes (looking into a Big Sis program!)
  • Daily meditation and spiritual practice (the main thing both of us have lost while traveling and homeless)
  • All within 60 days!

And the best part of all this?

We’re going to give you the opportunity to watch over our shoulders!

Follow along with our goal setting strategy meeting.

Use the same 60-day success method we use to produce dramatic action, results and transformation.

See our exact To Do list every morning and how we hold each other accountable to it every night.

Watch every step we take to go from below scratch to $150,000 in 60 days…

Watch as we get into the best shape of our lives with only 24 minutes a day, plus exactly what we eat!

I’m so excited to do this, I’m bursting at the seams! It was a random idea that popped into my head at 2:23am the other night. Because here’s the truth…

I’m doing this because I’ve failed to get my butt in gear over the past year!

This is my radical honesty and dramatic action to hold myself accountable to the higher standards I want to live by and achieve. For a year I’ve wanted to launch this women’s transformation company with Angela. For a year I’ve been trying to get into shape. For a year I’ve been trying to bring myself fully back to balanced life.

And for a year I’ve struggled and basically failed.

Yes I traveled, had fun, explored, ran my other successful businesses and got really really lost to all the details.

Now it’s time to GET FOUND. And to step up and do what I know I came here to do.

Get ready to hold me accountable. Get ready to join me and Angela on this 60-day journey. Get ready to set your own goals and achieve your own results alongside us! And get ready to look over our shoulder to see exactly how it gets done, day to day.

We’ll be gearing up to begin around Sept 15th.

In the meantime, I’ll be blogging to get us all pumped and prepared!

For now I’ll leave you with this:

The world of tomorrow is created based on your acts of today. I came across this principle while reading Paramhansa Yogananda’s “Autobiography of a Yogi.” And though we all know, teach and believe this – I still found upon reflection that I’d become lax these past 12 months. Content with continuing my easy consulting work rather than truly strive forward with my passion venture.

I found that I kept hoping for a new tomorrow – one where I was fit, healthy, balanced and grounded, and building a successful multimillion dollar business that reflected my passion and purpose.

I acknowledged that such a future required today’s actions: working out, sticking to a healthy lifestyle, staying put in a home base with my own things and my own energy, and maintaining daily strategic action that actually BUILDS a business – rather than continuing to brainstorm it while working on others’ businesses.

I was doing NONE of these things consistently over this past year. Yet I wanted the future they would create. Which is impossible.

And so I ask you to consider – what is the world of tomorrow you want to have? What acts of today are necessary to create it?

If you join me on this journey, I’ll help you figure that out and keep you taking those precise actions day in and day out. Together, we’ll make the world of both our tomorrows inevitable.

This has got my brain really ticking over….
“….what is the world of tomorrow you want to have? What acts of today are necessary to create it?”
Also, we are moving mid September to our home base for around 2 years or so before we plan to travel ….. coincidence? I think not =)
    Lots of love

Jaime, this is a very impressive feat that I will be inspired to be part of the audience and the journey as it unfolds. Once again you have raised the bar for what it means to grow yourself and others through your own learning….good on ya chick.

Keep it up and I can’t wait to see the 24min training video…may need it as I begin my training to do a half marathon AND….setting a new world record for the longest steadicam shot ever done. I think I’ve lost the plot.

Much Peace and love Miss M.

    • hahaha love it Andy! We won’t be shooting our own 24 min video for our training… it’s actually a 24 min workout we absolutely love and can refer everyone to. Of all that we tested, it worked wonders.

Love that you’re training for a half marathon!!! Don’t tell me you’re gonna run with all that equipment on you hahaha. ;)

  6. Hey Jaime,
I’m SO psyched that you’re becoming my neighbor! and I’m taking your challenge with you – let’s make that mullah and create our better tomorrow.

    Love to have met you!

  7. Austin, huh?? I lived there briefly and LOVED IT. Austin opens her arms and welcomes you. I was sad to heave too early. This is very timely! And valuable! It will be nice to have a structure to mirror, of you getting it done, blow-by-blow!

    Jaime,
    I LOVE IT!

I’m undergoing major changes in my own life right now and I will be tuning in to your site, and your daily activities and seeing if any of them will fit in with my changes.

It’s always nice to find a place to call home. Glad you found the one you want, where you want, and I hope all your dreams come true there.

    Best wishes always,
    Sylvia

how exciting! have marked 15th September in my diary – can’t wait for you to get started and to be able to share your journey. could we all state our intensions over that period? so we can all work together?

    • Hey Carol, a lot of people are messaging and emailing me asking the same. I’m working with Angela to put together a slightly more structured way for us to have everyone do this with us.

That level of participation probably can’t be free because we’ll want to include weekly live calls and other things that will get us all the best results… and it gets us really excited to think of having a true mastermind in this – a community of all of us moving together toward our “world of tomorrow” – so we’ll figure out all the details, probably ask you guys exactly what you’d want and what you can afford – and we’ll put together a group that includes training, live interaction, etc.

And of course we’ll still post our daily to do lists and such free on a blog or in a members area for everyone!!

      OOOOH I’m so excited!!

  14. Hi Jaime,

Really looking forward to following your challenge, some pretty big goals you’ve set for yourself. But hey the sky is the limit :D

I’ll keep checking out your blog and I wish you the best of luck!

    Hugo

    • Hey Hugo, yes the goals are higher than I’m comfortable with, but that was part of the plan.

I want to do this to show:
      1. It’s okay to set a hairy audacious goal. Even if we don’t hit it solid, it gets us much farther than small thinking can.

      2. This isn’t about showing people how to make tons of money quickly – it’s about showing the emotional, mental, creative and intuitive process (and especially action) that becomes necessary – and is often triggered – when we go after something really big and somewhat scary.

      3. My hope is that as people see me fight for something so large, they’ll have the courage to do the same. ;)

  15. Nice one Jaime. It takes guts to set yourself a challenge and tell the world about it, as you say, you are accountable for all to cast judgement on you. Looking forward to seeing you achieve your goals.
    Best,
    Matt

  16. Thank you everyone for the wonderful support and motivation. I’m really following my gut and the flow on this one – haven’t allowed my logic to get in on this or I start to get nervous. ;)

It’s going to be such an amazing experience and I’m honored you’re interested to join me!
